Guild Wars 2 Server Selection

I figure that those who want to play Guild Wars 2 together will want to be sure to jump onto the same server when the game launches.  We start playing on Saturday, and I figure this should be the designated world for RPGFan:

I'd like to go with Aspen Wood if only so that I can just roll one character and not have to split between my girlfriend and playing with RPGFan folk.  That's why I suggested it to Rob.

Just so you folks are aware, there's a guesting feature (which will be active after the period of free server transfer ability at launch ends) that allows you to visit and play with friends on other servers. So, beyond guilds and WvWvW, you'll be able to play the game with anyone, regardless of their server.

You also won't be able to create characters on multiple servers, I don't believe. Your account is tied to a single server as your home server. But, again, it largely won't matter due to what I mentioned above.

Good point.  The guesting feature should make life easier.  I was just trying to make things even easier on everyone.

Well, my brother got me this as an early Birthday gift, so I guess I'll be jumping in and playing with you guys! At least I don't need to worry about servers apparently.

Well, that explains why character names seem to be running out easily, but it does make transferring less of a headache. Mine's Ultinis if people prefer to search for that, I may try to make a few more though if I really get into it.
