The history of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is now so complicated that every time I tell it I contradict myself, and whenever I do get it right I'm misquoted. So the publication of this omnibus edition seemed like a good opportunity to set the record straight--or at least firmly crooked.

Nintendo...

They're like a pre-op tranny. They just can't figure out which way to go.

Probably the only way the game got made at all given all the news and rumblings from Sega as of late. Yeah, I'm sold on the Wii U even more now.

I'm glad the line-up got better, even if it is releasing a bunch of games that will have already been out for at least over a month.  But hey.  I'm glad it's gotten better.

Bayonetta IS awesome, but not the big sell to convince me to buy a Wii-U right now.  I'm waiting for the right game.

And thus a bunch of people ended up buying a Wii U for one game.

Wall of shame, NeoGAF.

Edit: Alright, now I think I'm more "emotionally stable" to make a comment.

I'm not gonna lie, I am very annoyed by the news since I don't want nor care about the Wii U but after this and the whole deal with Ninja Gaiden 3 getting a "fixed version" somehow I feel that as a fan of action games I'm being obligated to do so.

Either way I can't afford it and even if I could I would be against on buying a Wii U. :|

On the one hand it's funny, on the other I do kind of understand the frustration when a game you want goes to a platform you didn't intend to buy.

I'll wait for the inevitable Nintendo revision before I buy a WiiU though.

Uhh, it took about 5+ years for NES and SNES, while the N64, GC, and Wii never received anything other than alternate colors, in fact the SNES, GC, and Wii had functionality removed. Nintendo handheld you want revisions for, consoles absolutely not.

On one hand I feel like people should be grateful the game they liked got a sequel, on the other hand I do understand how exasperating it must be to need to jump platforms, especially when technical capability is roughly on par.

I'll buy a Wii U when this is released. It's not a launch game, so I'm sure there'll be a price drop by the time this is out. :P

You have a point I guess. I have no problem with buying Nintendo stuff, I'm just leery about being an early adopter.

They don't drop prices unless they absolutely have to usually.

I was actually half-joking, both about how quickly the last price drop came, and how long I think it may take for this to get released (the trailer showed absolutely nothing, I can only assume it's because they have nothing to show yet). I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii U did terribly enough that they need to drop the price within the first 12 months, though. All the signs seem to point it, as far as I can tell.

Not getting a WiiU and crossing my fingers that the exclusivity is just a phase that Bayo2 will grow out of.

If Nintendo actively funded this game to be developed it's not happening.
