"Coinciding with the launch of Mass Effect Trilogy, BioWare will kick off the first annual "N7 Day," a worldwide celebration of the Mass Effect franchise on November 7, 2012. Stay tuned to http://MassEffect.com for updates and announcements for a variety of in-game, online and live events which fans can congregate and fly their N7 colors."

"The Mass Effect Trilogy will be available on the Xbox 360 and PC on November 6, and will be available at a later date for the PlayStation 3. Mass Effect, the game which started it all, will be available on PlayStation 3 for the first time through the Mass Effect Trilogy and digitally as a standalone title via the PlayStation Network." -- Source(s): Electronic Arts News, NeoGAF

Nice. Maybe now the prices of 2 and 3 will drop even harder. Might get this for the PS3 someday if I like the series enough. Be good for a second playthrough.

Nice that PS3 players can actually start from the beginning now.

Of course, I've already moved on to the 360 versions months ago. :( But this I'll need to get when/if I can run ME on a computer.

This collection doesn't have any the DLC right? It would be too good coming from EA.

They didn't say either way. It'd be nice if ME1 at least included Bring Down The Sky. Especially on PS3

Hm, well at least when ME2 was released on PS3 it came with a bunch of DLC. We'll see what they do.

I can see them including ME1 and 2's, but maybe not 3's because it's still new, Leviathan especially. It'd be nice to include From Ashes. That ain't worth $10 on its own.

Man, I might get the PS3 version if ME1 is fixed. I love the Xbox version but JEEZ it is plagued with framerate issues. If they re released ME1 on a new engine for Xbox I would buy it. Larian studios did that with Divinity 2 and it paid off greatly!

Good idea; depending on the price point, may be a good chance to play one, beat two, and join hating the ending in three.

It was pretty buggy in some parts too. The Benezia fight alone is a pain in the ass due to the glitchiness.

The only way I'm getting this is if it comes with the ME2 dlc, I mean seriously, don't release that much dlc if you don't plan on collecting it all into one package eventually.

What DLC are you specifically talking about? 'cuz I'm sure there's quite a bit of DLC that's already on the disc...

What are the chances this set will be re-released with DLC later?

Good question, if it contains the DLC it will be a "day one", otherwise I'd just as soon wait.

I had to play ME1 on my PC and had a pretty choppy experience, so I would be willing to give the first game and its sequels another shot on my PS3.
