bought ar tonelico 3 from gamefly used for 20$ and they sent me this

Anyway, I have the same set.  I think it was one of those special editions only on the NISA store, but I don't remember for sure.  Weird that gamefly would have it...wouldn't expect them to bother with special editions.

I'm part of the all 3 were great faction though.

At least everyone agrees that 2 is the best by far.

It is heavily suggested to play them in order since it's one very long story that spans 3 games.

Gamefly is great for used games - since the only send the discs to subscribers, the boxes just sit until you buy it.

part 2 is unbeatable however due to a glitch in the game.  If you buy it you will never see the ending

Far as I know you just have to beat that battle fast enough, so not unbeatable but it's kind of unintentional difficulty.

Wikipedia also says the bug was fixed in the PAL version, if you are in that area.

I didn't even know about the bug when I played through the game and I got through that part just fine.  If you're good at the game it's not even noticeable, just have to defeat a certain boss quickly enough.  Hardly 'unbeatable'.

Edit: I should note, though, that there's some optional content where you can battle that same boss over and over and she gets stronger every time in order to unlock...something.  Not even sure what, since that part is pretty much unbeatable.  And she's the only boss in the whole game that does this...kind of ridiculous that they missed the bug then.  However I'm wasn't under the impression that the locked out stuff was anything major.  The big thing is you're missing the chance to challenge this optional boss (well, to challenger her fairly...).

And yeah you totally, *totally* don't need to use blue song to get past the fight. It's only if you want to unlock some crazy crap that you need to exploit blue song glitch.

As for OP -- that's a great deal. I should look to buy other used games from Gamefly and see what good deals come of it. :)

theres a certain attack that freezes the game and im pretty sure she doesnt use it in a story battle but an optional one.
