I can't imagine Square Enix releasing a PSP game in 2013. If anything Type-0 at the very least should have been released in like, March of this year. The only viable approach now is that the game gets ported or is released only on PSN (which I don't see Square Enix doing for such a big title).

square needs to learn to do more with less. im pretty sure we arent getting it because it would sell less than million copies.

Well, low sales are part of it, but more because of the platform than thinking people wouldn't care.

Granted this is firmly within rumor territory, but at least it's something.

Having played what I've played of it, this is really, *really* frustrating
I avoid online multiplayer because my brain still works.

Currently, the publisher is awaiting strong interest from fans, as it’s having hard time coming to a resolution regarding a western release, according to a second source. And Sony has apparently not been of any help to the matter.

Pretty sure there is/would be a lot of fan interest if a lot of them hadn't given up at this point. Fans tried to get SE to say something on October 27th, a year after release. All they said (via Twitter) was that there was nothing to say at the time. How the hell are they supposed to garner fan interest out of thin air when all they do is make statements like that that pretty much kill everyone's hopes?

^ Awesome image.

Certainly not the right choice of words, but cool news nonetheless.

Square Enix localization specialist lists Final Fantasy Type-0 on resume -- Source: Nova Crystallis

"Final Fantasy Type-0's localization has been on the table since 2010 if an employee's resume is to be believed."

So aside from forgetting why I gave any fucks about this game in the first place, what system would a hypothetical localized Type-0 be on?

Also thank god for a Squeenix name to show up as a localizer rather than XSeeD Marvelous or one of Nintendo's groups since they usually have better things to localize.
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

There's been sources saying the localization's been done and they're just kind of sitting on it. I think they plan to pull it out whenever the hell they figure out what to port it to and get simultaneous or near simultaneous international release.

Would you guys like if SQEX decides to put Type-0 as an enhanced port on PS4 with crossplay for Vita? That's really the only other viable way I can think of right now to release Type-0 and making a big deal out of it.

Square Enix is simply waiting to give the west the new and improved "Final Fantasy Type-Lite"....... Just like Type-0 but for the IOS :)
