The history of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is now so complicated that every time I tell it I contradict myself, and whenever I do get it right I'm misquoted. So the publication of this omnibus edition seemed like a good opportunity to set the record straight--or at least firmly crooked.

I honestly cant think of a game that's been remade, ported over etc. as many times as CT. Just make a new one already...

I think FFVI may have had 6 or so separate releases CT did, Ys is bloody hard to count without investing a bit of time which I don't have right now so Ill take your word for it. My point still stands, make a new one.

Why did you jump to FFVI?  FFVI hasn't had anywhere near the number of ports as some of the other entries in the series.  In fact it hasn't had many at all.

The original Final Fantasy (Ashton did just say 'Final Fantasy' after all) is a different story.

Also, you'd have an easier time counting the systems that DON'T have a Ys game on it.

That's like every handheld up to the GBA then all bets are off.

Lunar. Lunar has been ported waaay more than CT. GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER.

Seriously though, CT is awesome. Glad the android gang can get in on it.

You want to talk about a gajillion ports, let's talk about Final Fantasy III.

I mean, there's a Kindle Fire version.

There were more versions of FFIV by the GBA port then there are of FFIII now.

FFIII:
NES (original)
DS (crappy remake)
PSP (port of crappy remake)
Kindle (port of the port of the crappy remake)

FFIV:
Super Famicom (original)
SuperNES USA (easytype)
PSX (Final Fantasy Chronicles port of original)
Wonderswan Color (buggy and condensed port of the original)
GBA (port of the WSC port)

And that's not including the versions that came afterwards like the DS remake or the PSP collection or any of the VCs/PSStores versions.

Lunar. Lunar has been ported waaay more than CT. GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER.

Seriously though, CT is awesome. Glad the android gang can get in on it.

CT:
SuperNES (original)
PSX (Final Fantasy Chronicles)
DS (first to include bonus dungeons)
Wii VC (of the original)
PSOne Classics (of the FFC emulation)
Android (current)

Lunar:
SegaCD (original)
PSX (Silver Star Story Complete)
GBA (Legend sudo-remake)
PSP (Harmony of Silver Star)
iPhone/Pad/Piece of whatever (current)

Although if you don't count the various VCs and PSStores then yes, Lunar holds more remakes by one iteration.

You're forgetting iOS and Android versions of FFIII. CT has an iOS version as well.
