Metal songs in 8-Bit
« on: April 11, 2016, 10:33:05 PM »
I've been a fan of chiptunes since the old days of Nintendo. Castlevania, Metal Gear, Ghouls n' Ghosts, Duck Tails (moon level), anyone? ^_^ Now I found two interests that I like: metal and chiptunes.

Without further ado, I bring you a sample of some great metal songs covered in 8-bit:

Angra - Temple Of Shadows (8 Bits Version) - [2004]

Dark Tranquillity - Terminus 8-Bit

Eluveitie- Inis Mona 8-Bit

Ensiferum - Sword Chant (8-Bit)

Equilibrium - Blut im Auge (8-Bit)

In Flames - Fear Is The Weakness (8-bit)

152 videos of In Flames in 8-bit. Lions, tigers and bears o'my

Insomnium - Day It All Came Down (8-bit)

Insomnium - Drawn to Black (8-Bit)

Insomnium - The New Beginning (8-Bit)

Insomnium - Through The Shadows (8-Bit)

Kalmah - Bitter Metallic Side (8-Bit)

Kalmah - Seventh Swamphony (8-Bit)

Kalmah - Time Takes Us All (8-Bit)

Omnium Gatherum - Frontiers (8-Bit)

Opeth - Blackwater Park - Full Album - 8bit

Opeth - Reveire/Harlequin Forest [8-Bit]

Rhapsody of Fire - The Village of Dwarves (8 bit tune)

Soilwork - Rejection Role (8-bit)

Stratovarius - Black Diamond 8bit

Wintersun - Starchild 8-bit

That's some of the awesome ones I found on YouTube. Do any of you have favorite song(s) covered in 8-bit? This thread doesn't have to stick to metal, yet I prefer it ;)

I checked out a few, pretty cool! I'm listening to Angra right now...

Eluveitie in 8-bit is fantastic!  I love it!

And that Soilwork song sounds like stage music in a really aggressive, fast paced platformer.  Like a Contra game or something.

You can brag about your 5000+ friends on social media all you want, but riddle me this: how many of them would help you move?
