That's...extremely repetitive.

It's from 1989 AND I WILL NOT HEAR BAD THINGS ABOUT PHANTASY STAR YOU!

Also it's a shop theme, how many games even had shop themes in 1989?

I'm sorry I'm not attacking you. Well, maybe a little, but Phantasy Star is lodged in my heart.

I swear I'm not insane. I promise.

To be fair, you're only going to be in a shop for little more than a minute at best.

I got into gaming with the GBA and the Gamecube, so I don't really have a nostalgia filter over those older games, so I won't hold it against you.

I only seriously got into II in 2000, but I had enough nostalgia for 80s-ish stuff that it hit me there anyway.

Vagrant Story is another one of those games that could benefit from a makeover.

I got into the series with the GBA port. Made the more tedious parts manageable by doing them in bed (except for that one dungeon in PS2 with all the holes and the fact that the game doesn't tell you that you only need 8 of the 9 pieces of Nei equipment to progress the game; at least I got to brush up on my cartographer skills on that one).

Although since the GBA port only went up to three I had to track down a copy of IV, which I managed to find for cheap on the Genesis (and was my only Genesis game for the longest time).

Final Fantasy IX for me. It'd be absolutely stunning in HD.

Eugh...Atomos in HD. That would be utterly horrifying.

In the best way.

Also FFIX in HD would be awesome.

How about an HD remake of the Playstation version of Tales of Phantasia in English.  The GBA port (aka only English release) was not very good.

The GBA version is the only one I ever beat, and I agree. It was quite... not good. Or, even better, how about an HD remake of the PSP version with the voice acting and skits!

If someone did a collection of the old SSI games like Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds etc., I'd be pretty happy.

That would be really cool. I played those as a young lad and had no idea what I was doing. It would be fun to play them again now with some semblance of cognizance. The new (relatively speaking) Pool of Radiance was pretty wonky, if I recall. At least it had Elmo.
