OK, so here's the deal:

I love the quote in my signature.  It's a badly translated quote from a Swiss article about one of the players from the Anaheim Ducks getting drunk and threatening to beat a whole bunch of people up "in three minutes".

But there's this NHL lockout thing and the lack of hockey in the US is getting to me.  So I want a new quote for my signature.  I don't care where it's from - but bonus points go to our own forum and RPGs.

However, if you decide that you don't really want to set my signature, just post some of your favorite quotes.

From the most quotable athlete of all time, Charles Barkley.

"I can be bought. If they paid me enough, I'd work for the Klan."
"We are in the business of kicking butt and business is very, very good."
"I think that the team that wins game five will win the series. Unless we lose game five."
"You can't even jump high enough to touch the rim, unless they put a Big Mac on it."
"All I know is, as long as I led the Southeastern Conference in scoring, my grades would be fine."
"I always laugh when people ask me about rebounding techniques. I've got a technique. It's called just go get the damn ball."

The greatest...Yogi Berra

You can observe a lot by just watching.

It's like deja-vu, all over again.

Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours.

Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded.

The future ain't what it used to be.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Not a funny quote, but one of my favs comes from Joey Comeau and Emily Horne of A Softer World

"I have a two part question. 1. What would you do if you were going to die? And 2. How did you ever convince yourself you weren't?"

Aw, that reminded me of this song:

And my sadness that I can't get my hands on the Muppet Movie soundtrack legally.

Christ, I can never tell if Sega puts out these songs honestly thinking they're good or if they're secretly laughing their asses off every time a CD sells.
