I'd point out there could be people who plan to import, but I'm not sure any such people post here anymore. :/

Hey, I've got plans.  All kinds of plans...

I'm going to go out on a limb here and posit that Siliconera is wrong with their theory. Namely because the new character is female and also uses a sword.

Clearly you haven't played JRPGs

^ THis is a man.

But yeah, it looks way too effeminate.  "I'm digging the silhouette", if that's a real compliment.

But I thought men were nothing but miserable little piles of secrets?

But unfortunately, I am aware of the not-XBox360 Manga Carta game (and that dude isn't nearly the biggest fashion atrocity that game commits). Besides, that dude's wearing pants (of some kind), unlike the silhouette which is most likely wearing thigh-high stockings like every other JRPG female in the last decade.

Also, all caps your words or don't. Don't just half cap them.

Maybe is just me but I had flashbacks of Legretta from Tales of the Abyss seeing that silhouette for a bit.

Also the artist of Magna Carta is Korean. His style is totally different from what most people in the West is used to see. I do like his work in the Blade & Soul though.

... Huh, the katakana even matches where I actually took that name from.

As ridiculous a reason as it is that makes me lament even more that we won't see it for a very long time if ever, not unless XSEED somehow funds a sweatshop to belt this out (and they somehow do a decent job.)

And now, a brief look at the actual gameplay.

Edit:

Hyrule Field confirmed.

Double Edit:

http://gematsu.com/2013/03/sen-no-kiseki-adds-more-female-characters

And more characters to the pile. We'll have a full classroom yet.

Double Post/Bamping with another gameplay update.

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/05/17/pairing-up-characters-will-be-a-big-part-of-battles-in-the-next-legend-of-heroes/

Apparently, you can pair up your units for stat bonuses, extra attacks, and occasionally blocking attacks with the bonuses increasing as you increase the support level between the pair.

The Trails in the Sky series is what keeps me studying Japanese.

OK, that's a slight exaggeration...maybe.  There are several reasons I'm studying Japanese.  But it's definitely one of them.
