Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki

I've heard TC is a bit bigger than FC, so comparatively I guess that's something of a break. Zero and Ao, yeah, those I'm most worried about, at least the first three are on PC with this one on PS3 and Vita.

SC is almost twice the length.  Someone on the XSeed forums affectionately posted the amount to give us a visual understanding of it (and important to remember that FC was already pretty text heavy).

Well, Zero is on Vita too.  I wouldn't be surprised if they did a port of Ao as well, since that makes it the odd one out (with both its predecessor and sequel on Vita).  Though who knows what the Vita market will be like in a few years.  And those scripts...

Yeah, if the Vita were healthier I wouldn't be too concerned: they figured out how to get Trails in the Sky SC on the PSN, and TC was always good to go, and even if PSN is unviable we have the (somewhat awkward) approach of completing 1-3 on PC then going to Vita(/PS3) for the rest. Alternatively, SCEA decides to not be dumb about PSP remasters or Falcom crams in trophies, and so we get the Sky games on PS3 and the rest on Vita and/or PS3.

Actually, I kind of wonder if they'll release the newest game... while still releasing the older entries. We've seen that happen sometimes with media, I know for anime some longer running series get the movies and other stuff released even if the TV series hasn't caught up to that point, we have the Witcher short stories skipped in favor of the novels (nevermind that we got the games that happen AFTER the novels before we even got the first), we've had the Mass Effect games released without prequels (initially) on PS3 and Wii U... And something that looks nice and might not DEPEND on the older games may be a ripe opportunity for Xseed to strike up more interest NOW while working on the older stuff.

Wow. This is just another reason i would get a Vita....if it were to get localized. I have a few games on my list that, if they were announced here, i would immediately buy a Vita. Here's hoping. *crosses fingers*

I'm with you on this. If there's any news of a localization, then that'll be the motivation for me to get a Vita. Those screens are amazing, damn.

So they're porting the first three on ps3?  And this one is ps3only no PC version?

They're doing PSP remasters (it's not really a port, more like emulating the PSP environment on the PS3 with some higher res. art) of the first three games. Sen was announced for PS3 and Vita, not PS3 only.  And Falcom hasn't done a PC version since Trails TC.  Both Zero and Ao were PSP exclusives, though Zero got an enhanced Vita port.

I'd point out there could be people who plan to import, but I'm not sure any such people post here anymore. :/

Though I do find it kind of questionable for Siliconera to attempt to translate the title AND stick with that. We don't really know what it'll be called when/if it's localized, shouldn't you stick with Sen no Kiseki until then?
