Can't really go wrong with Keoki.  I liked the Magick single from 1997 with all the remixes on it.  Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Magick (Stateside Remix) on youtube since it's my favorite remix of that song.  

Basically, anything from his album Ego-Trip is gold.  That was his best album.  

Maybe because I used to go to raves and stuff circa 1997-1998, I prefer slightly darker dance music since most raves I went to were in grittier places like abandoned warehouses as opposed to polished dance clubs.

Another classic for me is Robert Miles "Children."  This is the "Dream Version" that the radio edit was extracted from.

The original version of the song is more intense than a mere "shake your ass" dance song; this is one of those "altered consciousness" songs where you want to break out the glow sticks and make colorful trippy patterns around you while doing flowy snakelike movements.

The Dreamland album as a whole is pretty cool.  

Yeah, I know this is old school stuff, but dammit it's still good!  And since it reflects back to the late 1990s when I was into EDM (electronic dance music) and that whole scene, it's my benchmark for dance music.
