Guys, I was talking to my friend in New Zealand. It's already December 22nd there and the world hasn't ended. What gives? That doesn't count, we need to wait until the Mayans' time zone(s) get to tomorrow. Maybe the apocalypse is on GMT?

To paraphrase Lord M. Bison...
"To the mayans, today was a day that held great significance. This day see the end of the world, perhaps creating a new age for those who were worthy. Today woyld be rooted in their minds for all time.
...But for me, it was Friday."

To be fair to the Mayans though, how many more years did they need to slap onto their calender?
After all you kinda get tired of carving out all those extra seasons and their solstices on your over-sized ancient stone tablet and you start to feel like an ancient Mayan Spergtzalcoatl.
Unless of course the calender was to keep track of how long the Mayans had left on their alien built lost temple timeshares. But then the joke's on them since the Spaniard Conquistadors came and wiped them all out so nobody's using those old temples anyway. They could've just beamed down and beamed them back up at any time during the last 500+ years.

This is like that scene from War Games with tension building up because a bunch of missiles are headed to some military bases, but they end up being fake. Eh.

Wait, someone was actually tense?
According to a news report people actually went to the Mayan pyramids to go pray and such. Because clearly ground zero is the best place to be... I have a feeling the rest of the world is ending and Canada is just getting the rain from it... as usual..
I'm reminded of something my father told me about a town in far west Texas (the desert area) that we could have ended up moving to when I was a kid. "Remember when Noah's flood happened and the whole fucking world was filled up with water and shit? That place got about six inches of rain."

I suppose that the aliens are gone now, for their planet needed them.
Too bad they died on the way there.
Good for us though.

Wait, someone was actually tense? Well one of my friends from Las Vegas told me a lot of people in that area believed it.

This was the scene outside my window. Clearly I died of a Rainbow Apocalypse yesterday. Beautiful final day!
