Adobe Makes Photoshop CS2 Free

So, apparently Adobe was tired on the upkeep for the registration servers for Adobe CS2, which is coming up on its first decade of life.  So, they're making it free.

This isn't new or fancy, but it gets the job done and it's great if you just want to do some light graphics work.

Nice. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for CS4 to become free. Last Photoshop I used was CS3, and I remember it being pretty featureless and hard to use. This may be too basic, even for me. Guess I'll stick to my Gimp 2.0, as much as I'd rather not...

Wow, that's pretty ok.  It may not be any CS4, but hey, free is still fuckin' free and great.  It's not the CS# that matters, it's how you use it! ;)

Evidently this was for redownloads of existing users, and you need a valid license to use it. They do provide a special code on the download page, however. Guess I'll see for myself.
