I hope it's Yamask and it will unlock a camera function to map our faces onto a Yamask.

Last night I saw Moltres!  Too bad it flew the coop before I could even make a move.  It was somewhere between the day care and Battle Maison in the yellow grass, I think.

EDIT: And if I'm to believe the Internets, then the most popular starter is/was Froakie.

If you check its Pokedex entry and area location, you'll see where it is currently. You have to find the legendary birds 12 times I think, before you can catch them.

Cool, thanks.  I just might have to do that.

Although, I'm partially thinking about going back to Vaniville town with my newly hatched level 1 Dratini (and perhaps with my level 1 Charmander) and retracing my journey fresh with a whole new team of 'mon.

Neal, if you feel like waiting until the end of December you can pay for the Pokemon Bank, upload all your Pokemon, then restart your whole game and go again without losing all the Pokemon you caught.

Based on the number of Moltres's on the GTS compared to the other two legendary birds, yes. Yes by a lot!

If you check its Pokedex entry and area location, you'll see where it is currently. You have to find the legendary birds 12 times I think, before you can catch them.
Note that if you perform certain area transitions the bird will change areas as a well(and Fly will always cause it to change areas). The best strategy for encountering the legendary birds is to go to the Connecting Cave and soft reset whenever the Bird is in a nearby area as exiting the cave does not cause a location reset and you've got about 4 or five routes that you can get to without a position reset. Also keep a level 40 or something Pokémon in your first slot and use Repels so that the legendary bird is the only thing you can encounter in those areas.

My first shiny ever in this game is a light blue Relicanth caught with a single reeling move.

My second shiny was through using PokeRadar. It was a Shiny Diggersby, which is all gray except for a brown box on its belt.

My third Shiny through PokeRadar turns out to be a pink Dunsparce.

But I really want to have a Shiny Riolu...

EDIT: Happy day. I got a Shiny Ditto! It's pretty hard to notice the sparkles in a field full of high flowers.

Too bad Transform isn't affected by its shininess. I'd have loved to use it on nearly everything.

I got shinies from hatching eggs from some near-perfect IV Pokemon I got from Wonder Trade. Currently have a shiny Greninja and Hippowdon, maybe I'll get a shiny Noibat and Fletchling.

My understanding is that one place to hunt for shinies is the Safari Zone because shinies are more common inthere, which is the only place I have encountered one (although I forgot what it was).

Well, can we share FCs through PMing? My Safari is a Normal type that houses Audino, Smeargle, and Lillipup.

I know you are Fairy type and have Kirlia and Mawille. I don't think we have been both online since you beat the E4 so I can't see your 3rd pokemon.
