I hope so. He should be Dark/Bug as an opposite to Scizor. Yup, the least creative thing you've ever heard. They'd better! Or Fairy/Bug that would be hilarious.

It's unlikely Pinsir will ever get an evolution, I'm not saying impossible, just unlikely.

His base stat total is 500, and all Pokemon with that stat total are already fully evolved Pokemon, Gengar, Ampharos, Donphan, Wailord.

An evolution would put him in Legendary territory stat-wise.

Scizor and Scyther both share a 500 base stat total, I imagine the stats would be shifted around to accommodate whatever role/flavour they want to give it the exact same way.

And the real shame is Farfetch'd doesn't have an evolution.

I mean he's the counterpart to scyther, him not getting an evo while scyther did is like making electavire and not magmortar(they both look kinda funky though). And oh man ampharos, mareep is like the only electric type you get for a good while in that gen so I used it for most of the game.

Starter evolves...

oh man.... they're kinda...really ugly.  Fenekin seems to evolve to get an ear parasite and a genetic stick in its tail, and Chespin's evolution is slowly turning it into a ball.  Froake looks alright, if not the tamest design of the bunch (and it worked).

Alt MewTwo is now a Megaman boss.

Sounds like you get Gen1 starters fairly early so that could be a decent replacement.

Not gonna look.  I wanna be surprised when the game comes out and I play it.  But it sounds like once again, the dorky looking one gets the most tasteful evolutions.  Look at gen 5.  Oshawott was a dorky looking creampuff, but its evolutions looked better than Snivy's and Tepig's.  Tepig's were fugly.

I think Chespin's evo is adorable, and Froakie's makes it look pretty badass. I'm really hoping it'll be water/fighting in the end. Not crazy about Fennekin's. Anyway, I've never been crazy about the middle evolutions for starters anyway, it's all about the final one, baby!

In a game where Landorus, Tornadus and Thunudrus exist, I don't think that matters much.

I don't think it's much of a reason to dislike it, they are both short and stout, it's the only resemblance they have.

I've been hearing rumblings that they're going to give Garchomp a mega evolution. As in the only normal Pokemon that can KO certain legendaries in one hit given the right conditions.
