Hmm seems that Nintendo is cracking down hard on the people who got the game early. Tried looking up the early release screenshots, but I saw nothing on Fennekin's final evolved form. Well I saw an image that was supposed to have artwork for it that was supposedly leaked, but the consensus on the comments seemed to indicate that it was a fake.

I have to say though that Pokémon X seems to be getting the better looking Mega evolutions. That is really tempting me to get X over Y, but I always go for the "red" version. Decisions decisions.

Are they awful or you don't like them?

Fennekin's evolves especially feels like that Japanese-fox Digimon

I haven't seen Froake's, but I do kinda like Chespin's last one.

Fennekin started lovely looking, then ??????????? happened, and ?????????.

I got the same impression. Which is strange as I think most of this gen give off a Dragon Quest vibe.

Well, I'm willing to not judge too harshly right now.

Something ALWAYS comes along that makes me suddenly like Pokemon I thought I would hate.

i guess the water one is nice because it looks like he becomes a frog robot-ninja thing

the fire one looks ridiculous and the grass's lanky arms don't fit the rest of the design well

I dunno, I was really liking pretty much every design they put out so far until I saw these

maybe i'll choose water this time, ill put the guy alongside my Sceptile and Ninjask and make a team of ninjas

opinions and stuff

I don't like Delphox, but Chesnaught and Greninja don't look too bad. Greninja is ... well, a ninja and Chesnaught looks like it was ripped straight out of Pacific Rim. Too bad its typing and stats make it the shittiest starter. The water starter is clearly the best one.

I like all the finals just fine. Delphox is probably the weakest, but it works fine for me. *shrug*

All the new pokemon? (major spoilers obviously)

Code: [Select]
Actually if that's all of them, that's only 71 all-new pokemon, strangely enough. Much less than there's been in the past. Still, I don't see any there that immediately disgust me like there have been in the past, like Purugly or Garbador.

Looks to me like there probably are more for two reasons. 1. I don't believe for a second that Charizard is the only former starter who gets two Mega forms. 2. I don't see a new Mew/Celebi/w/e came afterwards type pokemon in there to be the top secret cute type.

And thus the games are now available on the eShop. Midnight release my butt! New York Time is the official time, but I live in the west, thus I'm getting the game three hours earlier.

Downloading X now!
