More legendaries that aren't available in game yet.

Which means someone hacked the game.

Time for Game Freak to stop these people with breakable patches.

Hm, why? Who cares what people do to their own game. They can't use the online features if the Pokemon is obviously hacked.

Forums are saying it's a fire/water type too.  That bit got me interested.

I'm not really a "hardcore" player and I really needed a fairy type that wasn't under Level 30.  Yvetal... isn't very good either.

If anything, my job as a Pokemon player is to provide people version-Y exclusives!  I've been helping out my buds.  I kinda wanna get into breeding too or power levelling.
While I suppose arguably true, wouldn't it have made more sense to trade for Xerneas since it is a highish level fairy legendary?

Remember ya'll, don't restart your game without donating your legendaries to those you love.

Aka, me.
I will also gladly take any legendaries that people don't want. :D

Why is this

only lvl3??

According to what I have read, a person out there has hacked the RAM of his 3DS allowing him to change Pokemon he encounters in an area to anything he wants by changing an entry in the encounter table (and I imagine he only changed the Pokémon and nothing about the Pokémon). He has discovered the three hidden legendaries of this generation which include Volcanion (Fire/Water?), Hoopa (Ghost/Psychic?), and Diancie (Rock/Fairy?).

On an unrelated note, apparently people have managed to capture and decode traded Pokémon for this generation. So it looks likely that there will be a Pokegen for this generation.

I pretty much took out the Elite 4 with Florges alone.  EDIT: Plus, "Flabebe" is lots of fun to say.  Definitely a great name for a chinpokeymans.

What the- 86 points for the story?

If anything, that's a way-too-nice score because the story WAS an afterthought.

The story picks up near the end but yeah, it feels a lot like filler before that. Doesn't help that Team Flares leader was the only one in their group who felt threatening.

Looker sidequest in postgame had a decent story though, or at least compared to the main one.

Been playing through this game VERY slowly. Currently on Route 4 trying to catch a female Combee with one measly badge. Hence why I haven't posted my friend code in this thread yet. I may do so over the weekend though.

I kind of wish there was a way to change what Poke Balls your caught Pokemon are kept in. I have OCD and it's driving me crazy having a team of five regular balls and one Great Ball.

Couldn't find someplace else to put it, but for game of the month, you should really use runner up spots to give attention to games that may (sometimes) be really great but overshadowed by something that won hands down.

I mostly pop in occasionally to give my two cents on certain controversial things, so if you disagree then send a PM, because I generally don't check for replies in threads in case I feel like replying and then things get heated/derailed.

We had considered it, but then you have to consider that most months don't have many RPGs, much less GotM worthy ones.
