Imo:
1)The Anchorman was funny, but I think Will Ferrel is over-hyped.
2)Dumb and Dumber was funny. Probably Jim Carrey's best comedic film.
3)The first Matrix was good but the sequels could not live up to the success of the first movie. The sequels devolved and become pretentious psychobabble .
4) Toy Story 1 and 3 are great movies. I haven't seen the second one.

I value different types of humor and have an appreciation for diversity, but Wes Anderson's movies are over-rated. Well, the ones that I have seen. Maybe he has better movies that are funny, but the Life Aquatic was not as clever as some try to make it out to be. It had some amusing parts to it, but if failed to connect with me.
