GOG and mods for classic RPGs

Have a few simple questions so I thought I'd slap them all together here.
If I buy a game from GOG can I install it on more than one PC?
Are there good mods for Planescape: Torment to improve the visuals and formatting for a modern screen? Are they easy to use?
I haven't done ANY pc games since the days of Mechwarrior 2 and Tie Fighter

GOG stuff has no DRM. None. So you can do whatever you want with it. Install it on your fucking smart toaster if you want.
