This is for you, Dagg.
A topic on the official forums about jewelcrafting and everything related to it.
Sweet. Thanks! Now I know what ore I can get rid of and what to keep. Glad I have about 200 copper, tin, and iron so far =P

All right, we are going to use a fan brush here and uh why don't you take some hunter green and we are going to put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner there and that'll just be our little secret and if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you.

Yay! New Xbow + Signature!
The Xbow really isn't a big improvement over my Striker's Mark - more DPS (meaningless for a rogue), and +12 agi instead of 1% to hit.

With the exceptions of, say, Shazz, damage on a ranged weapon doesn't mean a whole lot of difference for us.

From the way they talk about it in that jewelcrafting thread, smart players should stock up on stacks of regular copper ore. Am I right?
If this is so, one could make a truly killer amount of gold once unleashing all that copper ore into the BC market.

The paladin set looks even gayer in action than it does in stills. That warlock set is totally awesome - makes me wonder if the artists spent more time on it than the others. :p

I find it funny Blizzard imitates virtually everything else, but then some awesome drawing like this comes around and you never see an imitation in game. It's almost like they don't realize how bad their designs are.

I'm interested in seeing the stats on these things.
i've read along the lines that 70 blues are even better than tier 2. So i'm kind of curious what the stats on the tier 4 are going to be like.

It's a little more outdating than that, even. While I'm sure there'll be some choice pieces that last a little longer, some people I know from Nurfed were upgrading their
AQ40 and Naxx
gear with greens at around 63 or 65. Tier 2's gonna fall behind fast, excepting a couple of amazing 3-piece bonuses.
What's going to be really interesting to me is how the item gap redevelops itself when people start to hit 25s at level 70, and how much it will be blunted by being able to redo 5-mans in Hard mode.
Also: Holy Warrior changes, Batman.
I suppose here is also a good place to point out that scaling hit and crit by rating was pretty genius, and I really wasn't expecting Resilience to lower the damage of crits as well as lower crit %.

That would involve Blizzard actually out-sourcing money, you won't ever see that. Nice Drawing though.
