The Pirate Hacks of Africa
« on: February 07, 2013, 03:03:14 AM »
This is one of the coolest gaming-related stories I've read in a long time:
http://gameological.com/2013/02/the-pirate-hacks-of-africa/

Sure these games are all illegally pirated hacks, but there's some pretty creative (and a lot of completely bizarre) stuff in there.

Here's a follow-up of sorts that focuses specifically on the cover art:
http://gameological.com/2013/02/the-art-of-syrian-games/

Edit: I went to the Syrian Games site itself and found this little gem that I just had to share:

Because when I think Alundra, I think Captain America!

Edit 2: I'm updating my avatar to reflect this awesomeness.

I like how they all have remarkably similar backrounds. :P But yes, this was hilarious. Thanks for sharing!
