Rumour seems to have it that this will be on "next-gen" console(s) (and I'm sure PC as well), but that's pretty interesting since the systems haven't been announced yet...

A lot of games have been shown or announced as being next gen or use the buzz word "high-end pc." Dragon Age 3, Star Wars 2331 or whatever, Watch Dogs, Cyberpunk.
I have a feeling though this game on PC will already make the next gen systems look dated :)

Doesn't that have to do more with graphics engines than the pure power of the machine the game is running though?

Great news. That we all knew was coming eventually, I suppose. I hope they stick with the current systems, though. No matter what's announced, and when they come out, it's going to be quite a while before I get a new system.

Same. While I want to get a Wii U sooner than later, I think I'll wait on these "Next-Gen" systems for at least 5 years. I'm getting tired of upgrading.

Tired of upgrading? What are you talking about? This console generation has been the longest in history. Seriously, I can't wait for new systems. It's about friggin time.

I've gotten 6 platforms in the last 6 years, that's too much for me.

Lol, knew I'd get that response. I'm just saying I don't want anymore for a long time, that's all. It'll be more of a test of my own self-control than anything else. I won't speak for Grim, though.

Me? I just don't feel like starting over. I'm perfectly content with what my current systems are capable of. All the new ones will bring is fancier graphics, which I can live without. Good gameplay and story has nothing to do with system capability.
Like (presumably?) Yoda, I don't own the 2 newest handhelds. Nor do I own a WiiU. It's probably been 5 years since I bought my PS3. I still don't want to bother with new systems.
Regardless, Witcher 3 is GREAT news. CD Projekt rocks.

Graphics aren't the only problem. System memory is crippling what game designers can do with their worlds.
There's a BILLION current gen games I want to play but I'm ready for new systems to at least be announced for cripes sake.
