So they're trying to make Dark Souls again. Hmm.

I'm okay with it.

That or they're trying to make Dragon's Lair again.

Though I won't be surprised to see this turn out to be related to Dragon's Dogma.
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

That's interesting. Maybe it was more like a Luminous Engine-type thing where they were just showing off. For all the hate heaped on Capcom these days, they do come up with some pretty solid new game ideas now and then. I'm interested to see where this goes.

I never understood the appeal of making random dungeons.  Worse is that it sounds like it's a selling point sometimes; to me it's just an excuse for linear or grid-like level design without any interesting assets.

I guess maybe Dark Cloud 2 pulled it off by making Spheda.... ... ... ...brrrr.

Looks nice, but I'm more keen on how it will play.

It's rare, but I'm in full agreement here.

I just watched the trailer, and it's awful.  The music does not fit at all with their wannabe-Dark-Souls visuals complimented by out-of-context, awkward snippets of conversation that never cease.  Seriously, did anyone get anything from all the yapping?  Did anyone actually pay attention to what they were saying?

I was excited with the original trailer.  Now I don't even care about the game anymore.

If the game still turns out great I'll definitely want to check it out, but it went from "one of the PS4 games I'm most interested in" to "likely a forgettable early gen title."

Wow, so much hate for random dungeons.  Persona 3 and 4 sure do suck, am I right?

The conference had actual gameplay, not just a shitty pre-rendered trailer (in fact this was like the only game they showed gameplay for...).  It looked decent enough to me.
