Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

5749 and 46.641 average FPS on High at 1680x1050. I want to see what killing shadows a bit will do to this.

5929 and 48.034 average FPS after lowering a few shadow settings and grass quality... not really much difference, haha.

Where ya been hiding Sol? Did you get into beta? Have a bunch of Reunion folks from 1.0 getting together for the test. You game?

Well, that's nifty. I signed up for the the PS3 beta this time, but I got an invite for the PC beta anyway since I was a tester for the alpha. :)

I'm still here lurking around the boards every day, hahaha. If I had got into the Beta, I'd be game, but I sadly did not :( Perhaps in a future wave!

I was curious myself. I'm running really old drivers (intentionally) thanks to LOTRO being buggy with anything past 306 driverset.

Luckily I got a PS3, but still...I need a new computer badly. This was a gaming comp. just a few years ago, too...

5771 Maximum @ 720, which is my gaming setting on this monitor for to be able to read things.

Mickeymac92 - Just built a gaming PC for $400.

Mobo: GA-78LMT-USB3
CPU: FX-8320 8 core 3.5ghz, running at 4.4ghz easily.
RAM: 8GB... haven't needed more
Gfx: HIS HD 7770

It's not the most uber thing ever, but it was a very cheap build that has no issues in gaming and the graphics card and ram can be upgraded as needed.

GTX Titan goodness.  Probably would have scored quite a bit higher but I'm on a mild overclock atm.

Here's the link for the full res image if the resize is too small

My birthday's coming up this week, so I went ahead and bought myself a new processor (Intel Core i5-3350P - will replace my AMD Phenom II x4 955) and motherboard and case. I've been wanting to do so for a while and figured I might as well go for it given the occasion. My GPU's an Nvidia GTX 460 1 GB, so that's in no real need of an upgrade. Looking forward to seeing my improved performance here and in other games :3

Pardon the double post, though it's a follow up. I got effectively the same score with my new CPU and only 6013 (roughly 200 above) after overclocking it a bit. So, hey, the game certainly is GPU based. More news at 11.

I got nice performance boosts elsewhere, mind you, so I'm quite happy with my upgrade.
