Pedigree alone warrants keeping an eye on this.

I didn't love Bastion as a game, but I loved its writing, art style, and music. I will be getting this.

I was glad to hear about this one.  Bastion had a lot going for it, and I'll definitely pick this one up as soon as it's on PC.

I was also not incredibly fond of Bastion's gameplay-- everything else was neat, but it didn't click with me as a game. The music and art direction for Transistor are much more in line with my tastes. Plus, it has a female protagonist that doesn't look like a sex object. Woohoo!

You mean it's not Tomb Raider? Dohohohoho.

I will not threadjack I will not threadjack.

Seriously though, Logan Cunningham confirmed his involvement in a vocal capacity too, so hurrah for deep-voiced people.

Haha! Excellent!

Furthermore, do they EVER have style over there! I'm pretty psyched for this, as I did like Bastion. True, the gameplay got a bit repetitive in time, depending on how you played it, but the story is compelling enough to keep stringing you along. Hopefully this does the same storywise, and the gameplay looks to be a nifty improvement.

Definitely excited for this. I enjoyed pretty much everything about Bastion. Played that game to death, and was sad when it ended.
I love the look of Transistor. Very Stylistic, but also old school.

Yeah, Bastion did enough things right that I'm sure I'll purchase it. Though, Bastion also did enough things wrong I won't be surprised if I don't feel like finishing Transistor either.

Between this, the new Shadowrun, and Cyberpunk by CD Projekt Red, futuristic RPGs are looking good.  And with Soul Hackers to whet my appetite... I'm drooling right here!
