Does Meruru have that really Spanish-sounding battle theme?  Because I absolutely love it, Ayesha is currently switching between its own battle theme and that awesome one.

Soooo, help me out. I bought Atelier Rorona a while ago and I just never got around to playing it. I got it for a good deal, so I just grabbed it assuming I'd play it eventually. It has the same feel and graphics as my Tales Of games(at least the way the box looked). After reading up more on it, I became more and more skeptical about it.

My question is this: should I play it? Like, is it worth it? If so, I have a whole new series to get into and a Vita game to play so my poor Playstation Vita will stop gathering dust. But all the alchemy doesn't exactly sound fun to me. I like decent characters and stories and fun battles and pretty graphics. Spending most of the game finding items to make other items sounds.....iffy.

What's all your feedback on this predicament?

You already got the game, may as well at least try it out for a few hours, and stick through to the end if you like it. Else I'd just get Totori on Vita.

As mentioned on the last page, Rorona and the older Atelier titles are very different games from Totori and Meruru. They're more about organization and management of resources and time.  This is not for everyone.  Some people love it, others do not.  It has more sim elements, so to speak.

It's really something you need to put a few hours into to understand the structure of and see if it's something you'd enjoy.
