The more I hear about this game, the more I'd rather just replay Persona 3 or 4. 

...or maybe fire up Innocent Sin.  Because why not?

God this game looks cheap.  Is it seriously a Vita game?  Looks worse than a lot of PSP titles.  Oh wait, there we go: A completely pointless use of the touchscreen.

This is seriously coming in below my expectations (which I don't think were terribly high...).

For some reason I am getting an Unchained Blades feel from this rather than a Persona one. No idea why though as it does share a lot of similarities to Persona. Maybe it just feels more like a story driven dungeon crawler than a jrpg with dungeon crawler elements to me.

I still have an interest in this game, myself. Hopefully we learn more about the social aspect of the game.

This game got really mediocre reviews in Japan.  Kind of killed my enthusiasm for it.  I always considered it a reasonable enough candidate for localization but kind of stopped caring about it when people actually started playing it with less than enthusiastic results.

Why do bad things happen to good localizers?

Same sensation came over me for a few of XSeed's "greatest sh*ts" (the Ragnarok DS and it seems Valhalla Knights 3).

I picked it up when I was in Japan last September (it came out August 1), and it was already half off.  That speaks volumes.

Honestly, I'd rather them spend money localizing this than on developing that ridiculous Magus game.

My impression was that this was a bland dungeon crawler with its one gimmick being the not-Personas.

I was mildly interested until I saw the dungeon crawling gameplay and ugly visuals. Think i'll pass on not Persona.
