Just finished editing episode 14. It should be live very soon (before E3).

I've been listening to "World of Mana", since late 1999.  It's the perfect song to fall asleep to, in my opinion; Hearing those birds chirp in the song, just completely relaxes me. I remember in the Summer of 2000, I listened to this song, under a tree, during a bright, sunny day; I fell asleep within minutes.

I've definitely fallen asleep to World of Mana in the past. What a great track. Also, three points of interest for you lovely listeners:

1) Derek is out of the country, but we recorded a guest episode to tide you over before he and I get started on MANY NEW EXCITING THINGS.

2) You're still welcome to enter the jingle-guessing contest. We're not going to do winners until we record our NEXT episode.

3) Stealing Rob's idea, if you all have any music topics or questions that you think would merit some interesting discussion, feel free to drop them in here!

New episode should be up in the next day or two!

Listening to the podcast right now, not sure if it's just me but the volume overall seems lower than normal, especially during some tracks. It was especially noticable during To a Strange World. Otherwise, I always enjoy an overworld themed podcast! Great job.

edit: Hurr-durr I checked all volume settings except iTunes...Never mind, the volume is fine!

This was a great episode.
You guys should have picked Underneath the Rotting Pizza ahah.
As far as some of other awesome town themes, fisherman's horizon and svadhisthana come to mind.

These last two Podcasts have been so good. Good tracks, fun discussion. So, so good.

I will say, I can't believe we missed out on Blackmage Village. That is the first track I thought of when I heard you were doing town-themes. For a while I was pretty upset, but you totally made up for it by playing the Thames, the men of the sea. Thanks Caitlin!

I'm petitioning you guys for a Podcast centred around magic themes. Or weird monkey noises. Or... I just want Blackmage Village.

Fabulous, I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Part of the benefit of doing episodes with shorter tracklists (aside from the fact that they're not really much shorter than they used to be, length-wise) is that we can get more "I wanted this track!" for the next time we cover a topic-- AND, it might give us an idea we wouldn't have otherwise had.

And hey, Evergrace has good music! :D

We have a ton of episodes planned right now, and I believe we'll have a musical guest very, very soon ;)

Great episode!  Here's some of my favorite town music that wasn't already in the show:

Your Affection (Never More album version) - Persona 4
Boy Meets Girl (Twoson music) - Earthbound
Wonder Castle (Holt Village music) - Disgaea 2
