Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs

Cheesy, terrible voice acting, cliche ridden....but I still love it.

ASIDE: Man, we could have a field day discussing all manner of space cowboy shows.  Saber Rider, BraveStarr, Outlaw Star, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Serenity...

I was a cartoon junkie as a kid, and my guilty pleasure was easily Jem and the Holograms.  I knew it was wrong for a boy to be watching girl's cartoons (bear in mind, this was the age when girls had cooties), but Kimber was a hottie.  I seem to have a thing for cartoon redheads, and this has been discussed many times before.  She-Ra was a guilty pleasure too.  Glimmer was my cartoon crush from that show, even though she wasn't a red.

Haven't seen Outlaw Starr or Brave Starr - are they worth it?

Outlaw Star isn't as good as Cowboy Bebop, but I enjoyed it more as it's more my type.  I never quite got into Trigun.  Still, that was the golden era of Cartoon Network, and all three shows do space cowboy quite differently.  I haven't watched BraveStarr since I was a kid, but I remember liking it back then.

Cowboy Bebop got too depressing for me to want to watch it again. Outlaw Star's only really :( moment was Cats, Girls, and Spaceships.

... Granted I haven't had cable since I was 22, which was the last time I remember CB being on AS as well, and things were going on in my life at that point so yeah.

Does Dragonball Z count as a good guilty pleasure? Sometimes I just want to watch an overpowered MC punch an ailen so squarely across the jaw he breaks through an entire cliff face.

I rewatched the original Fullmetal Alchemist anime on Netflix and the follow-up movie on YouTube, and it being my first anime, I definitely have fond memories.
