3?

It's not like 8 seasons (is it?) is a bad run.  Maybe it will, again, come back.

Being honest, I thought the humor was reeeallly hit or miss.  Simpsons [was] way funnier even on bad episodes [of the earlier years].  But, I loved Futurama for the adventure and overall whack creativity.

Futurama I always thought was better, mainly because the humor tends to be smarter in a lot of places. It also has had the advantage of not wearing out its welcome like the Simpsons. Its nice that it was brought back from the dead twice though, but I guess I'd rather see it end now, before it gets too terribly bad. Like the Simpsons.

I dunno.... a few too many "I saw it with my own eye" jokes from Leela made the humor less impressive in my book.  Futurama I guess had some good pun humor (which they milked the fuck out of the Robots for).

Not every joke was a hit, but a lot of it was good. I also liked a lot of the sweeter moments, like in the first movie, the stuff surrounding Lars was pretty saddening. Then again, you also had all those self aware "We're Back!" jokes that were a little cringe worthy. A lot of it also has to do with nostalgia for me personally, I grew up with the show.
