In the Extreme Titan Mode theory thread,I posted that I thought since Garuda was the most challenging Normal Primal and Titan was the most challenging Hard Primal then ifrit would most likely be the most challenging Extreme Primal. Feels kind of good that I was actually right.

Yeah, my FC and I were discussing that a few weeks ago too. I'm pretty excited to see what the extreme mode weapons that drop, are.

I love the Titan Extreme quest name. Also that mogfork.

Also Tenchi's new avatar is fabulous.

Let me uh distract this thread with a side story/Hildibrand preview. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/04fdef3dfc318453b2a04cb0129798d594958db7

Seriously, what the holy flying Fuck is wrong with SQ-Enix? The land / housing prices are insane. This just blasted open the game to RMT with freaking TNT. Legacy servers have  it even worse.....sheer madness.

As do I. They can void housing purchases bought with RMT gil all they want, but how are they gonna know unless they watch everyone's gil movement carefully...

Once again SE pursues the policy of trying to ruin RMT by ruining the game experience of actual players. There's simply no way to make that much money if you are a legitimate player and you didn't get in on the initial gold rush (a bunch of players who got their gil confiscated in that first wave anyway). Even if you have a massive FC are you really going to ask people to donate 500k-1M to buy a good house? I'm the richest guy in my FC (granted it's a really small one) and I only have a bit above 2 million.

It's pretty fucking dumb that superfluous vanity content is the hardest content in the game to finish. What the heck are you doing, SE?

Well, bear in mind the new quests and treasure maps may offer more gil possibilities. Perhaps the long awaited allagan platinum pieces.....

Platinum pieces would be nice. Still, even with more ways to make money, even the depreciated value a couple months from now seems a ways off, at least on our server.

DRG buffs are great. Makes combos even better. The one they don't show in the English notes was full thrust from 300 to 330.

Yeah, the typos/errors on the English patch notes were ridiculous. I'd sure love to have the job the translation guy has, because I spent only 3 years studying Japanese in high school and I'm sure I could do better, because the type of mistakes he made are "I don't give a shit" mistakes and not so much translation ones.

I'm not even going to get into my disgust of the patch notes. I'm sure everyone in FC is probably tired of hearing it. So I have other happy news.

Nah, I'd love to hear your comments because they are just awful, and not just in terms of errors.

Saying something "has been adjusted" is a huge pet peeve of mine when it comes to patch notes. Why so secretive? People are going to figure out what you mean, so might as well just say it.

LOL, we spent  most of the morning on vent trying to reason out WTH Square-Enix was thinking with some of these decisions. IT WAS FUTILE!
