I'm alllll alone....

Well, next time you come to Montreal for Video Game Live or some other shit (or I go down), maybe we should meet up.
Why didn't we do that last time?

Love that, Annubi! :)

Oh I've met you all. You just might not remember meeting me. Or me being there. Or me looking through your windows.

Even though I've been around here forever, I've never had an opportunity to meet anyone in real world land.
I'm only 45 minutes from Chicago, but somehow I doubt Yodes and I would click. I get along just fine with pretty much everyone, but you can only talk about the weather and the Fan so much. I don't think we have many (any?) mutual interests outside of this board. You a fan of plants, Yoda?
I don't really even know if anyone else on the board is from the Chicago area.

I'm a totally different person IRL. I like plants but I know jack shit about raising them.

Yeah, I hang with TurnBasedDude (Dennis), from time to time and Ramza (Pat). Ashton comes by from time to time too. Basically, they're like family now, no joke. They even take care of my kids when they're around, it's like free babysitting!

Aside from them, I've hung with Dincrest (Neal), Dancin' Homer/Slime (one of my best friends IRL), and I've met most of the long-time staffers at various E3s, such as KeeperX, Kyuusei, Mike, Rudo, Stephen, that guy, the other one, that ugly chick... LOTS!

oh yeah, I also met Hathen once. He's cool.

And now the question be begged: which RPGFanners would you want to meet and whom would you rather not?

that's like popularity contest stuff. but over the years I've gotten to know dice, goosey, and akanbe- pretty well.

I'd like to meet Mesh because....

I'd like to meet Anime & RPGl and  and unwrap all his games and movies so he can't charge us as much

Dice and Yoda, until they both get high and I'm left sober.

Meshy, cause I think his existential crisis' are just so damn kawaii.

Tooker is a really cool guy and I wouldn't mind meeting him either.

EmbryonX and Turnbaseddude are also nice guys that I think I could gel with.

As for who I would rather not meet, I honestly don't think I would turn anyone down. Maybe LINK90201, only because I'm not entirely convinced he isn't some advertising agent just trying to build up his post count before he spams us all with ads.

I feel like nowadays, everyone in the community is pretty chill.  I'd love any and all of ya at one any of my band's shows if/when we tour your area.  But back in ye olden days, there were plenty of doucherockets (both male and female) that I would not have wanted to meet at all.  I'm pretty glad I can't say that now.

And I think plenty of us would want tattoos from Klyde.  If I had the disposable income, I'd make the trip and commission him for something original.

Seriously, if anybody could come up with something I'd want to have on my skin for the rest of my life, I'd trust Klyde to be the one.

And thanks, Goose - I would really like to visit your fine country someday, and I would make sure to tell you if I make that happen. :)
