BE'LAKOR - The Smoke Of Many Fires
~ Another amazing song off of Vessels. I've repeated this track many times, good stuff!

Aetherian - The Rain
~ Get a little of an Insomnium vibe, new death metal act will have a debut album with Lifeforce records next summer/2017.

That was an interesting music video, Dincrest. Somehow, the song reminded me of  Unleash the Archers - Tonight We Ride.

I've had a song on heavy rotation since I first heard it last week:  Evergrey - Passing Through. The lyrics resonated with what's been on my mind lately, oddly. Also, doesn't hurt that's a catchy Evergrey song. :)

So who here heard the new Metallica song "Hardwired"?

I did not like it at all.  Musically it was alright; pretty average thrash.  But those lyrics were insipid, like they were written by a pissed off 10 year-old whose mommy made him eat brussel sprouts.  Even the new KoRn song was better, and the only KoRn album I like was the first one.

The new Dysrhythmia song, Internal/Eternal is fantastic, though.  They have a new album coming out later this month.  I LOVE that band.  https://soundcloud.com/profoundlorerecords/dysrhythmia-internal-eternal

My familiarity with Metallica is basically etallicaMay, and then Street Anger came out and nobody wanted to download their music anyway.

:S

song of the moment is track 6 off of Kate Bush - The Sensual World. winamp's track ID stuff failed on me ages ago.

I mostly pop in occasionally to give my two cents on certain controversial things, so if you disagree then send a PM, because I generally don't check for replies in threads in case I feel like replying and then things get heated/derailed.

"Wheels can take you around
Wheels can cut you down
We can go from boom to bust
From dreams to a bowl of dust
We can fall from the rockets' red glare
Down to 'brother can you spare?'
Another war
Another wasteland
And another...
Lost generation"

"Between the Wheels" by Rush is my favorite song from one of my favorite bands.  And the album it's on, Grace Under Pressure, is my absolute favorite Rush album.
