Breath of Fire IV - Truth and Dreams
Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter - Lift
Breath of Fire IV time
I love Truth and Dreams. There's something very nostalgic about it. It's a lovely yet poignant melody. I actually loved the game for taking you to the strangest places, it felt almost like an old school fairy tale.

Maurice Ravel's "
Pavane for a Dead Princess" and using it in game as well. The song is both beautiful yet sad and used for a really peculiar part in the game. It's not everyday a game incorporates
actual classical music.

Breath of Fire V rep
http://youtu.be/eF-yM6MTLQgSilver Sound always gets me. There's something cold and sad about this tune that strikes me every time.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwiMOv59fpw&feature=share&list=PL91C55D8D730E70BCThe Upper Layer Area. I love how boisterous this song is, appropriate for the, almost literal, "upper crust" of underground society. But I much prefer...
http://youtu.be/jpcPpWlg4c0The Middle Layer Area counters the above with something more thoughtful and calm.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BksX_ISV5q0&feature=share&list=PL91C55D8D730E70BCElectric Power Building is one of those songs that's amazing, but you can't half-ass it. You gotta listen from the start and listen to the tune build up. It's a really cool, inspiring dungeon theme that's not without still making you feel a bit anxious.... hell, all the dungeons did to some extent.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pPDs-EyL6Q&feature=share&list=PL91C55D8D730E70BCSmall Departure. For a game that likes to throw a lot of grief your way, some of the more positive and sweet tunes can mean a lot. This was definitely one of them -- and I think this plays when you finally became a complete party.

http://youtu.be/J50Kq_kRrjIStar Ocean 3 -- Calm Mind Reflected in the Pupil. FIND A MORE CHILL SONG, I DARE YA. This song is just ridiculously serene, relaxing, and lovely. It suits the city you're in very much.
http://youtu.be/NrebiFzG2lAEternal Sonata -- Continuous Divider. To go one with chill songs, here's a "chill dungeon"; it's quite lovely.... quite frankly though so is the whole damn soundtrack. Hard to explain, but there's a feeling of "meaningful-ness" in this tune that is both courageous and calm.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcotTRJhQ44&feature=share&list=PL68E09FBCFDD19453More Sakuraba; Baten Kaitos -- Gentle Wind. I am a big fan of relaxing or exciting music. Sad or "mysterious" tunes tend to get locked out of my play list, I'm less interested in them. I really, really love Sakuraba and his ability to create these relaxing tunes that take me what feels like a million miles away and this is certainly one of those tracks.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JfDxq2z3io&feature=share&list=PL68E09FBCFDD19453Baten Kaitos -- Rumbling of the Earth. For the lack of any guitar or heavy instruments, this song is damn thrilling. I love the use of chants and vocals to sort of emphasize the "earthiness" part as well.
