I play pretty regularly.  I play with the SA goons these days, though.

If your video card is a Radeon, get the beta 12.1 drivers from their homepage. Greatly helps the performance. I can turn on medium shadows, shaders and reflections on a lowly 6570 while maintaining a solid 40- 45fps. Its very scalable regardless so u should be able to run it unless the computer is an antique.

I'd like to ask for some guidance here.
In short, in many years of trying not a single MMO got me to like it not even as close as I'm liking Guild Wars 2. I'm still at the very beginning, at level 12 but I defeated a boss in an event with a bunch of people and got me thinking about joining a guild.

So here are my questions: Is it still to early? Anyone here is already in one or can recommend a guild for a beginner with experience in RPGs in general but close to none in MMOs? Some tips about looking for different kinds of guilds?
For example, something I take no pleasure in is PvP (maybe this game can change it, but so far no PvP).

I'm playing in the Sea of Sorrow server.

You just have to ask around and see what guild fits you.  You can join multiple so try a bunch out and only stay in the one(s) you like.

Yeah. Ask around. You'll get replies almost immediately. At least that was my experience..

I see. I didn't know I could join mutiple guilds. Are there any benefits to it?
I believe I can't represent multiple guilds at once right? So what does representing a guild does?

Benefits of joining multiple guilds is that you aren't tied down to any particular guild.  If you want to switch on the fly to play with guild X that has real life friends without leaving Guild Y, you can.

And you are correct, you cannot represent more than one guild at once.  IIRC representing guild can give you certain bonuses while playing, but I'm not sure.  Someone else will need to explain that.

When you do things while representing a guild, you earn that guild influence.  That influence is a currency you use to buy guild upgrades.  It'd be easier to just link to a list, because there's a lot of it.
