If you guys want to arrange something, you are more than welcome to. I havn't planned to leave it this long, but currently my gran is in hospital and its to die. So I've been practically living there for a week now waiting for it.
I'm sorry to hear that, man.  Hang in there.

(*sorta wishes he hadn't revived this topic*)

Don't. :)

I'll find something to kick into the pot for the winner if you do arrange it. I'll also get the Newsbox updated if you arrange a date and time/game.

Sadly, I did quizzes about the 2 games I know very well (and someone else did CT)

I may be able to do a SO2 quiz... but I've forgotten so much about it in the years.

Well, if people are interested I could run a quiz about Final Fantasy VI or Persona 3.  I've put in hundreds of hours into both of those games and could probably do a better job on those than the time I tried a Super Mario RPG quiz.

In that case, with all due respect, I'd probably be good to assemble the SO2 one.  I play it almost once every two years or more.

Super Mario RPG would be great.

Have we done an FFX one?  This might be the time to hit on that one.

Or a Tales of Symphonia one while we're at it.

Fire Emblem is another big hitter I'd think.

You're right about the timing for an FFX one. No we havn't done that yet.

I'm upset because you were playing (and winning?) Blitzball while I was being a pansy-ass to even try till I could get good players.

Wow. It would rock if the site-trivia platform was integrated with the main site O.o

Heh, Blitzball isn't hard. I can safely say I'll never lose a Blitzball match. I can easily secure at least a few overtimes before I eventually score. There are some easy adjustments you can make on your team right at the start.

First, recruit Wedge. Biggs isn't that good, but Wedge is a great striker. He has good Endurance, Attack and Shoot. You can find him just outside the locker room area in Luca.

Second replace Keepa immediately. He's garbage. Instead get Jamal, who is hanging around Luca somewhere, sitting on a chair if I remember right. He'll be your goalie until you get the chick who wears red (I can't remember her name), who hangs out near the Moonflow.

Getting Tidus's Jecht Shot on the boat ride from Killika to Luca helps a lot. If you are smart enough with your passes you can get Tidus right infront of the goal with only 2 defenders taking him on. At early levels you'll only have enough HP to use it once until halftime (and then subsequent overtimes). Once he gets a few levels though, you don't need to worry about it.

After your fairly easy goal using Jecht Shot, just play defensively. Jamal with Super Goalie should be able to catch just about anything anyone shoots at the early levels. The Al Behd Pysches may give you a bit of grief, but its not too bad.

It certainly would make it easier to get the word out. When I started this I didn't think many people would be interested, but it makes me happy to see people comment and ask for updates and such.

Getting this all set up, having money to give the winners prizes and such, it really was a labor of love.

I may have to take you up on that offer. I wouldn't want to accept prize money, though, as I'd feel my volunteer work would be less "valuable", if that makes any sense at all :)

Oh man, thanks for this!!  I honestly feel like you can't find Blitzball help without getting into 20 pages+ of other extra content and stats and other stuff.
