I once got a turnover of 92 -> 540 bells, which got me from a modest 700K to somewhere around 14 million.

Yeah my bad, I realized I didn't write that clearly enough. My friends and I have a stalk market group where we do stalk market trading every so often. The resulting money is enough to last me a good few months.

What's the best way to go about visiting other people's towns? I'd like to get some more fruit! Does whenever you're visiting need to be online at the same time? That'll slow me down a bit because of different timezones.

Yeah, both need to be online at the same time. To allow people to visit your town, you have to open your gate by talking to the monkey in the trainstation. You also talk to him to visit other towns.  I can help you out with fruit. I have everything but bamboo. What is your native fruit?

Native is pears. Ashton was nice enough to let me take a whole bunch of fruit. Not sure what I'm missing, though I don't have bamboo. I'll add you as a friend in the next little while.

Glad you got the fruit you wanted. Persimmons are the other rare-ish type of fruit. I was lucky to get a few and made sure to plant them.

I only realised recently that turnip prices change twice a day. I was lucky enough to make a decent profit recently. Nothing huge, just enough to pay back the latest loan. Probably should have invested it in more turnips on Sunday though.
