Anyone else play this game?  It's a great party game.  Not terribly deep or anything, but a ton of fun with the right crowd.  Basically there are various "black cards" with blanks on them and each player gets a hand of "white cards" from which they try to pick the funniest response.  A bit like Apples to Apples if you've ever played that, but the real brilliance of CAH comes from the sets of cards, which range from the absurd to the filthy.  There are also just a ton of cards (several expansions and stuff, plus you can just make your own...) so the possibilities are endless...

Anyway, I recently discovered that for those times when you don't have a party, there's a free, online clone of it.  (BTW, in this case the game is released under a Creative Commons license so free clones are 100% legal)  I'm curious if any folks here would to try a game sometime.  Doesn't take long.

Yeah I've played it a few times. It's pretty good.

There's a few expansions to help mix it up.

I'm really eager to play it, my brother keeps telling me about it but I usually miss good things. :C

FYI, the makers have instructions on how to print  your own copy for free on their homepage.

Yeah, I've also played it a few times. You have to have the right crowd; the last time I played we had the right mix of people, except for one person who it was obvious felt very awkward about the whole game. It's also one of those games where the entertainment is proportionate to the number of people playing.

I imagine if there was ever an RPGFan meet-up, there would be a required playing of this game (especially with some adult beverages).

It's fun.  Being a horrible person helps (me and my friends mostly count).  So does beer.

I redact my original post, I played it last night, had a helluva good time.

In line with (Tuns) idea, is there an online version for people to play across the net?? xD

Yes, in was in my OP!  Obviously it's not quite the same as doing it face-to-face, but I've played it a few times now and it works pretty well.  We should totally have a game with RPGFanners sometime.

Link again if you missed it.

That'd be cool, and I'd totally be up for something like that.. And thanks to the facelessness of the internet, I could totally play pantsless and drunk, instead of one or the other!

Played this with other RPGFan staff during the week of E3. Good times. Pretty much all our combos were not appropriate, even for this thread. :-P
