For you gamblers out there Square Enix is doing a mystery bundle for 7 unrevealed pc game downloads for $9.99.
https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/435312/holiday-surprise-box-2016-pc-download

Welp... it ended up being exactly as underwhelming as I expected it to be for $10.

lightning returns (already have)
goetia (what even is this?)
legacy of kain: sould reaver
legacy of kain: soul reaver 2 (collectively these two might not be horrible)
hitman go (lol wut even is this?)
tomb raider: underworld (ugh)

and a coupon for 20% off my next squeenix purchase that I can't use for 3 weeks (aka just long enough to forget about it until it expires a a few weeks later)

"This goes way beyond pumpkin spice" "Whale oil beef hooked"

The GO series of mobile games are actually really fun if you like puzzles.

Yeah, I bought the Hitman one off PSN when it went on sale and really enjoyed it.

Fixed that purely in the interest of making it sound like you have dope-ass rhymes. Not because I'm a disrespectful grammar nazi.

Also, the Grid racing game is  available for the low cost of free in the Humble store.

For some reason, Bandai Namco has Tales of Berseria 40% off on their store.

(I bought Steam, but the UI seems to indicate you can get it for PS4 too if you choose it)

^ No kidding. I had to limit myself to a handful. Make sure none of them turn out to be the other hundred I've bought from GOG and have never touched.

I definitely do have a problem...

I'm sure those of you who use it regularly already know, but the Steam summer sale is in full swing. Get 'em while they're somewhat affordable.

One of the things I hate about Steam is their recommendation "algorithms." Like, unlike Amazon and Netflix, Steam's genuinely makes me angry. Like during the sale I bought Deathsmiles even though bullet hell shmups are among the handful of genres that I hate to love. Sure enough, after 10-20 minutes, I wasn't really enjoying myself and figured I wouldn't really touch it that often.

However, since I did play that 10-20 minutes, Steam is now convinced that I'm obsessed with shmups. Likewise, apparently one of the games in my library has a "Nudity" tag, and I'm not sure which one since I don't play any kind of game like that on Steam (and that's not me being bashful, a couple folks on this forum can vouch for me being pretty open about the games I play), but now my Steam front page is constantly shoving any other game with a nudity tag in my face. So now Steam thinks I'm more of a perv than I am, and that's straight-up insulting.

/end rant.
