I went to download the Mass Effect Trilogy, but it kept telling me that I don't have enough memory. What the hell? How much freaking memory IS all three games, anyway? I have a 120GB drive and it's always been fine. I deleted a few things, and still ran short by a long shot. How do you check how much memory you have left on your hard drive?
Several others are tempting, but the games are too darn long.

Go to System Settings > System Information.

Also for some reason the PS3 requires you have almost twice as much memory to download and install the game than you need to actually store it for some reason.
My Blog - It's about gaming stuff. You can read it if you want. No pressure. I mean, there's a link there you just have to click on, but... y'know... whatever.

Probably due to compression since it has to expand the downloaded file on your drive as well.

And doesn't the PS3 reserve a ton of that memory for itself anyway? Like 9GB for the OS and another 10GB 'just in case'?

I would assume they are all 10-20 GB a piece. I have them on disc though so I'm not positive. Google search is getting me nowhere, but the Mass Effect 2 installation is 12 GB for reference.

Yeah, I did a quick search and didn't find much. I guess if I want to mess round with the ME games again, I either need a bigger HD or go with the disc version. $15 though. Damn.

Yeah, it's a good deal. 29.99 brand new at Gamestop and Amazon for disc versions.

Atelier Escha & Logy just dropped to 29,99$ on amazon.ca (I emphasize the ".ca", the price was only reduced on the canadian website).

Edit: they are already sold out.

Steam summer sales are up!

http://store.steampowered.com/

The Witcher 2 for $3.99 seems like a really hot deal.

Breath of Death VII + Cthulhu Saves the World bundle pack is on sale at steam for €0.59. I really enjoyed these games and would recommend them to anyone even remotely interested.

PSN flash sale! Games for $0.99.

some RPgs of note:

Harvest Moon Return to Nature
Wild Arms
Wild Arms 2
Legend of Dragoon

Full list is on the Sony Site. https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/flash-sale/cid=STORE-MSF77008-9_FLASHSALE2014

I'm probably in for Dragoon and Wild Arms 1/2. For $3.00, that's a lot of game play on the Vita.

Couldn't resist Tales of Symphonia Chronicles for $7.50, so I bought it. May not even ever play it, but it was too good a deal to pass up.
