I said they're fun, the music is very good, the graphics are also phenomenal (except for NPCs.in LR).
Traveling is a drag, the characters are forgettable and pretentious, and if you like the story I think you'd also like the quality of writing seen in reality television and fan fiction by 16 year olds. Serah probably won't stay dead, or at least she seems to have just as many lines and plot relevance as she did in at least the first game (anyone else especially happy that Aeris was never brought back to life?), and the epilogue spoilers and enemies don't have me very hopeful that "the third time's a charm". It's an entertaining plot, but I don't think I can call it well written...
On a positive note, I'll at least thankfully add that Square has learned to make the gameplay more interesting with each title.
But dear God, the series has been around too long... I'm kinda just sick of hearing about "FF13 news and updates" every week or so.
