'Differences from the original versions' from Final Fantasy Wiki:

"Both games contain improved maps and character models and textures as well as improved lighting, shadowing and enhanced pre-rendered movies with better quality in high definition. Trophies for both games will be added. All controllable and other major characters have new character models, and monsters and minor characters have rearranged textures to improve quality. The game now plays at 16:9 widescreen and some scenes have been adjusted with different camera angles to accommodate for it.

As the HD remasters will be of the games' International versions, they have some new additions for North American and PAL region players. The Final Fantasy X International was never released in North America and includes a new Sphere Grid option, new optional bosses and new abilities. Final Fantasy X-2 International + Last Mission was a Japan exclusive release, and adds new dresspheres, a Monster Create system, and Coliseum.

Both games will also get improved voice audio."

'Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has a new drama sequence during the credits' from Siliconera:

"Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will have a new 30-minute-long drama that will play during the compilation's credits sequence."

"This 30-minute sequence will feature newly recorded voices and will be written by Kazushige Nojima."

OH MAN. I was kind of hoping they wouldn't confirm that this was the International Edition. I hate that Square is releasing both this and KH 1.5 on the same day. There's no way I can afford to get both at the same time, but which to get first is driving me nuts.

For KH, it's mostly the pre-order artbook that has me thinking of getting it day 1.

BUT two years ago I was just starting to play through FFX again when Square announced the HD version. I stopped playing then and there and have been waiting that entire time to get my FFX fix.

BUT THE ARTBOOK :\

If it means anything, the HD titles are priced at $40 as opposed to the usual $60... can't budget for it? =/

I make a grand total of $100 - $150 a month and am $4500 in debt. Ideally I'll have a better job by the time they come out, but I've been saying that for 3 years...

Yeah, I know what that's like.  I might actually pull the "mum, I did well on my test, can I get a vidya game?".  Brrr.... x(

Wow! I was honestly not that excited about this game, but with a whole new ending, and some new content...I may have to get it for my Vita. I'm pleasantly surprised. :)

I'm definitely glad destructoid was wrong about it not being the International versions.

I can't really decide which version I want, though.

No Dual Audio, no buy.

FFX was so far behind FFXII in English VA.

Does anyone know if the Vita version is digital-only or not? I tried to search for some info for the OP but I didn't found anything.

I'm glad the DLC rumour turned out to be false.

Will be picking these up for sure.

^In what cloud do you guys live in? I mean, if we are being realistic here and try to keep expectations in check all of those RPGs have more of a chance to be "PS2 classics" more than anything else.
