Don't want to jinx it, but this looks like it could actually be...good?

I say that mainly because it's a light-hearted animated affair that seems true to the original characters.  Not that you can really tell a lot from a teaser like that.  But it does make me wonder why with all of the terrible live-action video game movie adaptions nobody has tried making an animated film before...I mean, this could actually work.

The games should translate well to the big screen in my opinion. Looking forward to it. I think it might be the first video game movie to do it right, but I don't want to jinx it.

I'm excited for this, because I think Ratchet's silly humor and kinetic action is well-suited to an animated film and because I'm an unapologetic Ratchet fanboy.  Cautious Optimism.

If I didn't know any better, I would have thought Pixar was animating it. This looks so awesome, 2015 is officially my favorite year in the making.

Never got into this series but maybe I'll go watch this anyway. We'll see.

I've read that the movie based on the Forbidden Siren series is good, but I have never seen it.

I think it is okay from what I remember. It's a different take on it, but it's good enough, yes, if a bit too typical of its genre.

The first good video game movie in my opinion would be the Professor Layton movie, but this could be the first Western example.
