If so, do you recommend picking the game up?

Thanks.

It depends on what kind of games you like.  I started off as a point and click adventure game player so this was right up my alley.  Personally I loved the game and I refuse to part with my copy.

I've only played it a bit, but if I ever see a copy of it, I will pick it up and /never get rid of it/.

I made one play through when I had my GBA. It was a fun game, and the characters were likeable. Battling was a blast. Trying to keep weapons you loved was hard sometimes because of limited item space though, and the fact that they break overtime.  Worth a play through, definitely.

I think you should grab Riviera. Interesting storyline, characterdevelopment, fun battle engine, excellent visuals, and sound. In sum, an RPG that is certainly well above average and is should be acquired.

Also this game is going to end up rare so its better to pick it up as soon as you can. I already see $50CDN bids for Riviera even though it was released a year ago.

Found it average. It could have been great, but the game dangles all sorts of cool things for you that you want to use, but can't because you just don't have the space for it.
