Crazy. Well, you know how they like to take existing properties rather than completely original stuff.

On the upside, I always loved DC Comics' "Elseworlds" comics, which take characters you know and throw them into a different world, and this feels like that same idea.

this is disturbing to me. what the hell happened to the oz of my childhood?

of all the "oz" that has come to pass since "return to oz" (which was awesome btw) staring a young Fairuza Balk as Dorothy (she was my particular favorite dorothy) I predict this to be the most epic of fails.

sorry to be a debbie downer about it but I'm calling it like I see it.

That's cool. Everyone has their own opinion, of course. Just like I happen to think (and have actually stated here previously) Return to Oz sucks ass. =P

In regards to this topic... It's kind of a neat idea IMO, but we all know the execution will be garbage. Calling it now.

One step away from a banning. You have to have at least 1000 posts to have an opinion.

Lots of folks don't like that movie... but I definitely feel like it's got its merits.  Those wheeler guys freaked me right the heck out when I was a kid.

The problem is that Oz is so incredibly bizarre that most re-imaginings actually make the world much more mundane and boring. Oh, and no one ever looks at the other books, except for a couple plays and Return to Oz. I'd love to see something where Polychrome, Daughter of the Rainbow, was a major character.

Yea I am shooting to earn my "one" opinion pretty soon :)

Its gonna be "that compile hearts/idea factory can make an uber-quality game".

At 2000 my next opinion is going to be...ready?....here it comes!!

"Breath of Fire 2 actually IS an uber-quality game!!"

I can't reveal what my opinion at 3000 is going to be for fear that you guys may stop taking me seriously if I give too much away too soon...

Yes-sir, I've got it aaaaaaalllll figured out :)

Those wheeler guys freaked me right the heck out when I was a kid.

Those wheeler guys freak me out as an adult.
