The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby

That's their only good song, bud.  :P

I think not, Beatles hater!

The Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows

Agreed!

My song of the moment is from co-creators of rock, The Velvet Underground.

Velvet Underground - Sister Ray

That's my favorite Ayreon song. I like Devin's little part at the end.

Quo Vadis - Silence Calls The Storm

I want to get their albums and their DVD. I mean one of the discs is the entire drum footage.

Lately, I've been listening to "Ladder" by Dysrhythmia a lot.  Fantastic song.  It starts out in typical Dysrhythmia fashion with odd time signatures and such, but halfway through the song comes this really catchy riff that I can't help but air guitar to.

It's off their album "Contradiction" which is near impossible to get.  Too bad, because that album is f'n awesome.  I mean, yeah, anything by Dysrhythmia's f'n awesome, but this and No Interference are my fave albums by them.

The Who - Tommy

The whole album because there are too many different songs and moments from this album that I've really been digging lately.

Deg, I can provide you with a totally one hundred percent legal version of the album sometime soon!  :P  Louise and I are stuck in Manchester till May after we get married and before we go back to Canada, so we really need to hang out some more before now and then.  Plus you need to meet our mate Keegan as he rivals you and Nemmet as Porcupine Tree's biggest fan.  :P

Sazabi!  Quo Vadis are fucking terrific.  You should also check out some other Canadian Death Metal acts, most notably Martyr and Cryptopsy.  Oddly enough, I've listened to Day Into Night a lot this week.

My song today though is The Storm I Ride by I.

Deg is actually a much bigger Porcupine Tree fan than I am. :P

Song is Cinderella Man by Rush, because I saw Mr. Deeds Goes to Town a couple days ago and the lyrics are based on that film.

Cryptopsy!  Hells yeah, I saw them play a few months back. Nice to see them mentioned here.  I've only heard 1 or 2 songs by Martyr but I agree that there are quite a few great Death Metal bands here in Canada. Seems like most are coming out of Quebec for some reason..

I still can't believe you don't like Stupid Dream! Also, I'm retracting my previous statement of not recommending Lightbulb Sun. It's too good for me to put people off it :P Also, Signify is growing on me!
