Persona 3 Unveiled

My question is, where is Kazuma Kaneko? Is he on another project? I heard nothing of him leaving the Atlus team, so I'm not worried about that, but still, it seems weird not having his art.
This new artist seems talented enough though. I'm excited!

Whoa.  A new Persona?  It's about time, really, and this one sounds really good so far.

I especially like how it has you going on with everyday life during the day and fighting during the night.  Even monster slaying heroes need to have a life, you know?

Yeah, I like the whole student by day, craziness by night.  I'm also intrigued by some of the stats I saw in the screenshots: stuff like Academic stat, Glamour stat, etc.

It doesn't even bother me that Kazuma Kaneko isn't doing the character designs this time (?) since Soejima Shigenori's art is nice enough.

Thanks for the link.  I just got done watching it and wow.  I like the anime cutscenes and the in-game portraits, but the graphics are just okay.  I'm still looking forward to it and I hope it gets localized despite the whole suicide thing.  

I also watched the trailer for Devil Summoner: Kudos Rule or something or other.  It looks super sexy and I can't wait until Atlus makes an announcement that it will be localized.

That promo: Awesome, despite the fact that I had no clue what the hell anyone was saying. The anime cutscenes and the character portraits look great, but I'm still not sure if I like the somewhat cutsey character models. The music was amazing, though - Shoji Meguro is steadily rising on my list of favourite game music composers. I think I'll have to add this game to my list of most anticipated games.

The promo also made me even more tempted to buy Persona 1/2, despite the huge prices those games seem to fetch on eBay and the like.

Actually you should be able to find persona 1/ 2 for a reasonable price, or PM me, I have an extra copy of persona 2  I will sell to you cheaply. This trailer = WOW. I have to say this, the whole suicide thing is very original(albeit disturbing). I love the overall feel from the trailer. It makes me giddy like a little girl...a crazy wierd little girl .

It looks fantastic. I've always been a fan of those kind of themes when presented fictionally. However, it's like they realized that these games were being localized so often, that maybe they should make them that much darker.

Love the trailer.  BUt you really think they should have found a singer who could speak english just a bit better.  Nevertheless, the opening vid is very stylish and the gameplay and story look great.
