I love Amano, but that picture kinda harkens to some of his creepier artworks (at least with how the girl looks like an abandoned porcelain doll you find in your grandma's attic).

Love the rest of the image and I'm stupidly jealous EU is getting such a lovely release.

EDIT: On that note, it's pretty damn surprising we've got Amano art for a Ubisoft game.  Holy crap

I love the work Amano did with this piece personally. It sort of reminds me of some of his best work in FFXI.

They're really going all out, aren't they?

Gotta give Ubisoft props for funding something like this in the modern market.

Not quite as surprising given that Japan's getting it too.

I'm not a huge fan of Amano's style for characters. His environments are always drop-dead gorgeous, but I've never really enjoyed his designs for people.

That said, great piece for this. Really excited for the game.

This just looks better with each preview. Really looking forward to co-oping this with my wife. Don't tell Ubisoft, but I would have paid WAY more for this...

A nice little video looking at the some of the ideas that went into the game.

Wow, this is fantastic looking. I agree with LoS a few pages back that I really look forward to more artistic games like this these days. It seems like the industry is getting more and more about the next big blockbuster, and a lot of the smaller games are falling by the wayside in terms of marketing and development (okay, it's been like that for a long time now, I'm just a little tired of hearing about Titanfall).

I'll definitely check it out!

This game feels more fairy tale than most fairy tales.

If this game is even a touch as good as it looks to be visually this will be a real treat this month. Anybody aware of any differences between platforms? It would be nice to have a reason to turn on my Wii U but typically I go for the PS3 incarnation of most all multi-platform titles.. i feel insecure about my trophy level, LOL

If I had the cash to spare, I would pick this up just to support similar projects. However, as I don't really have that kind of money to spare and I'm not really interested in the game itself, I suppose I'll have to trust you folks to show Ubisoft we want more stuff like this.

So why again am I pre-ordering a download-only title?

Don't know, but there it is...

I'm only assuming here, but maybe is because you liked what you saw despite of potentially being a very jaded person? Dunno.
