I was gonna do the pre-order deal but I still can't decide what console to go for. I just am yet unaware of any differences and thus have nothing to go on yet. Day 1 for sure for me here though.

I'm only assuming here, but maybe is because you liked what you saw despite of potentially being a very jaded person? Dunno.

Yeah, something like that. Really looking forward to co-opping this with my wife. From what I've seen, it's like they made a game specifically for the two of us. The story, art, and music all look superb. I still can't believe they're only charging $15 for it...

Saw this game in action today.

....I may have to re-budget some things.

I would just assume it's going to be incredibly short.

I've pre-ordered the collector's edition at EB, so I'm looking forward to that!

Read the review today, as well as the ones at my other two usual sources. Sounds pretty great, a few flaws and a little short, but nothing I didn't expect or can't forgive. Guess I'll be picking it up tomorrow, probably for the Wii U.

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna score this one on PS4 so I can remote play on Vita. Really looking forward to trying it out.

Super stoked that John singled out the music as being great too-- that has me VERY excited.

Shame that they didn't just make a Vita version.  Especially since it seems to be on every other platform in existence...

Didn't Rayman do OK on Vita?  Same engine...

Yeah, I'm puzzled by that too. I'd love to have it on Vita specifically, but on the other hand, PS4 lets me have my cake and eat it too, so I suppose it's not so bad.

Wow. I just gave this a brief shot today... I think I need to put my other games on hold for a moment here. This game is gorgeous. Totally worth a little break from Atelier E&L and otherwise at the moment.

I won't get to sink my teeth into the title til later tonite but first impressions are REALLY good.

I didn't pre-order so no bonus goodies for me.

Anyone know anything about the DLC?? I'm curious as to whether I should grab the golem pack and Dark Aurora before starting the game or wait.

EDIT: I never (rarely) do 2 play-throughs of anything, which is why I am asking about the DLC now. I don't won't to get anything gamebreaking but I also don't want to miss content. An alternate outfit and an additional character seems pretty worth it to me but I don't want anything gamebreaking.

Same here. Lots of great games to play, and no time to play them. I plan on getting this as soon as I finish Zelda, ALBW. Looks fantastic.

Tried the demo, was very disappointed.

The game is gorgeous, visually and the music is fantastic, but the game itself is just kind of dull. Even the battle system, while a nice departure from the norm and a great callback to Grandia, ends up kind of repetitive and slow. For instance, you can use that spirit thing to slow enemies or heal party members, but the latter is far too useful to even consider the former. Finally the dialogue, while I understand their intentions perfectly well, just comes across as incoherent gibberish.

Klutz: Do you have that backward?  Because I found heals to be far more useless than the slows.  The slows make it so that enemies can be chained into sequences of no action for quite some time.

Also, Bytor and Grim, this game is pretty short by RPG standards.  10-15 hours.
